When we first designed these shackles the idea was to allow a Dodge with 5" of lift to run 35" tires without hitting the fenders under extreme flex. While they do give you 1/4" of lift and help move the axle forward slightly what they really do is open up a lot more flex in your front suspension. The longer shackles allow the springs to move much more freely and has us getting a full 2" more articulation with a much smoother ride. While this will vary from truck to truck you should notice improvements both on and off-road. The heavy duty design helps take unwanted deflection out of your front suspension and the polyurethane bushing for both the spring eye AND frame hole will restore your old Dodge back to it's youth again. If your truck is already hitting the fenders with the tires you may need to cut the fenders  or install more lift with these shocks. They work that good!
